  • Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students at JMU.
  • Sustained volunteer or community service, on or off campus.
  • Good academic and conduct standing with the university.

Selection criteria

  • Depth and duration of the applicant's service commitment.
  • Tangible benefit to the community served.
  • A reflection on why service matters to the applicant.

Application process

  2. 02Applications are reviewed each spring by the chapter's scholarship committee.
  3. 03Finalists may be contacted for a brief follow-up conversation.
  4. 04Recipients are notified by email and recognized in person during the next chapter awards ceremony.
